What you need

What you need to work in this specialty.

Requirement Detail
Minimum experience Registered Nurse roles: minimum 12 months post-graduate experience. AIN roles: relevant care experience and certificate-level training.
Pre-arrival certifications Manual Handling certificate may be required. Medication endorsement for RN roles. Aged Care Sector Check (criminal history) required before commencement.
Orientation period Typically 1–2 days facility induction covering resident care protocols, medication administration systems, and emergency procedures.
AHPRA registration Required before starting work. We can provide guidance and support throughout the AHPRA process.
