Nursing Jobs in Regional NSW: Rural & Remote.
Rural placements are one of the most rewarding experiences our nurses describe. You will work in a smaller team, with greater use of your full nursing skills, knowledge and learning, and see parts of NSW that most visitors never reach.
Sub-specialties and areas we place.
We place nurses across all of the following areas within rural and regional NSW. If your background fits, we would love to hear from you.
What you need to work in this specialty.
| Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|
| Minimum experience | Varies dependent on the role, facility and location but best suited to nurses with at least 24 months post graduate experience. |
| Pre-arrival certifications | IV cannulation and medication administration competencies required. |
| Orientation period | Rural placements will normally offer a more structured orientation due to the fixed nature of the placement to a ward/clinical setting for a period of time. |
| AHPRA registration | Required before starting work. We can provide guidance and support throughout the AHPRA process. |
Current demand in Regional NSW.
Rural placements offer significant professional development — broader clinical scope, smaller teams, and parts of NSW that most visitors never reach. Many UK nurses find them among the most rewarding experiences of their time in Australia. Get in touch and we will talk through whether a rural contract suits your plans.
